La Florida is a hostel on the Costa Brava in Catalonia, Spain. I was commissioned to re-brand the entire business. To keep its traditional identity I took reference shots from the hostel building. I made its new logo by re-drawing the sign that was painted on the building many years ago. I also used images I found on old, colourful tiles on the façade of the building. The result keeps the traditional hostel identity, but gives it a modern, clean look for today’s tourists.
I undertook this work on a freelance basis, working directly with the client.
